The Lhasa Apso may be small enough to carry, but historically speaking, nobody told the dog that.
The Considerable Authority Edition celebrates an ancient Tibetan breed with an extraordinary combination of compact size, abundant coat, keen intelligence, confidence, and natural watchfulness. Developed for centuries in Tibet, Lhasa Apsos were valued as indoor sentinels in monasteries and important households, where their sharp hearing and suspicious eye for anything unusual made size largely irrelevant.
That heritage still shows in the modern Lhasa. Beneath the magnificent flowing coat is a sturdy little dog known for being independent, alert, self-assured, and deeply devoted to its people. A Lhasa doesn't need to be the biggest animal in the room to behave as though certain matters clearly fall under its jurisdiction.
